Mark trained as a classical dancer with Dame Sonia Arova at the Alabama School of Fine Arts and pursued a dual major of music and dance at Birmingham-Southern College. Mark toured Europe with the Scottish Ballet. Upon his return to New York City, he worked for 15 years with the world renowned Ballet Master, David Howard. As a staff member of American Ballet Theatre, Mark worked one on one with Mikhail Baryshnikov, Gelsey Kirkland, Cynthia Gregory, and Cynthia Harvey. Other teaching credits include The New York City Ballet, the School of American Ballet, the Paris Opera Ballet, and Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet.

As a musical director he has conducted, or was a production pianist, for Broadway, off-Broadway, and National Tours of Sweeney Todd, Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Gypsy (w/ Tyne Daly), Jerome Robbin’s Broadway, Little Shop of Horrors, Evita, and A Chorus Line. In 1994 he was casting assistant for the Tony Award winning revival of Carousel and the movie Center Stage in 2000. Mark was inducted into the national registry of “Who’s Who” for excellence in the field of dance in 1997.

Originally from West Virginia, Kristi has been dancing for most of her life. She has performed in various productions of Pippin, 42nd Street, and Cats. In Florida, Kristi performs regularly at Francis Wilson Playhouse and has been in such shows as Dirty Rotten Scondrels, No No Nanette, and HAIRSPRAY At MAD Theater of Tampa.

 

 

 

 

 

Christina began her early training at Patricia Ann’s Dance Studio. After high school, Christina received her Degree in Psychology from USF. Ms. Capehart is now one of the lead choreographers for Francis Wilson Playhouse. Credits include No No Nanette and 42nd Street. Christina is a multi-time LARY AWARD winner for her excellence in musical theater.

 

 

 

 

 

Ms. East has been a part of dance in Florida for many years. A graduate of the Julliard School in New York. She is one of the leading teachers for young children and adults alike. Her approach to teaching children is one of the most nurturing and engaging around.

 

 

 

 

 

Melinda began her early career in New Jersey at the Princeton Ballet School. After moving to Florida, she continued her studies at the West Florida Youth Ballet where she danced leading roles in The Nutcracker, Paquita, Walpugishnacht, Valse Fantaisie, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and created the lead role in their production of Cinderella.
